Good luck though, hope you find something that scratches that itch for you!Įdit: Same issue with 11 as with 09 and 10. Haven't tried any of the 2K games since I'm mainly chasing a good RttS experience. No info on 12, 14 & 15 other than "ingame," but 13 apparently played quite well with minor visual bugs for someone back in 2019. Haven't tried the ones already confirmed playable (07 & 08), or any of the other ones I didn't mention.

I got used to analog pitching in 16, and the PS2 version of 11 only has classic & meter, might be worth a shot if you like the meter (though the meter only works on software mode in PCSX2). I was just after a good RttS mode, so I finally settled, for now, on the PS2 version of 11. The demos are much more playable than the actual games.) It's hard to find anyone else reporting they got it to work (some dude on YouTube has a video purporting to run 10 and a couple of others perfectly in 4K-but you can see the giant gold "DEMO" the split second the start screen is up in these vids, which he neglects to mention in the vid titles.

The only other one I've tried is 10, which still seems broken-I had the same issue as you and for what it's worth I'm playing on a GTX 1660S. So that's two that seem to work pretty well for most folks (aside from my issues running 09). There's still no fix for either issue, AFAIK, but playing exclusively on minor league fields minimizes the floating fans issue somewhat.

Not as much of an issue in other modes, but fans in attendance tend to show up in the field, around the mound, in the sky, etc. It plays very well if you have a tolerance for minor/moderate graphical glitches in RttS your player (and AFAIK other CPU-generated players) will have an untextured face so you'll look like Casper the Friendly Ghost. Crashes pre-start screen for me every time, no idea why, but I'm in the minority apparently.ġ6 is seemingly the go-to for most users. This guy only has a bit of slowdown with 09, it seems perfectly playable for most folks. the 09 thread there's only one post, dated in 2019, talking about how it runs well but crashes on subsequent startups if you save any data-that issue has been resolved for a while apparently. The compatibility list is usually reliable, but in this case some of them are a bit outdated, likely because of low interest in any of The Show entries before 16. I've also been desperately trying to get some of the MLB: The Show games working.
